As for copyright, giving a writer & their book credit is not enough. If I used a recipe from a book, I'd have to ask permission (and perhaps pay a copyright fee) from the Rightsholder (may be the writer OR the Publisher) to copy it into my blog. If the recipe can be found on-line, the most I could do is provide a LINK TO the recipe, I cannot merely C&P it.
